Yoga Nidra, sometimes called Yogic sleep, is like a beautiful long form guided meditation. But with specific components to help the mind, body, and energy settle into the perfect alignment for you to create something truly amazing for yourself.

Yoga and Meditation

The ARC Retreat center is just 45 minutes drive from the Northern suburbs and features a homey feel with plenty of space for everyone, 90 acres of pristine wetlands and woodlands featuring majestic white pine forest, a meditation labyrinth, and trails for walking.

The delicious food is cooked fresh on site, often includes organic and local products, and they do a great job accommodating dietary needs. All meals, from Dinner on Friday to Breakfast on Sunday, are included, and lunch Sunday is an option, too.

There are a few rooms for 2 people to share, and many rooms for 1 person. Buddy up or have your own space.

Price: $725 for a single room, $525 per person for doubles ($675 single, $475 double until 6/1/2023)

Dates: Friday, November 8, 4 p.m. - Sunday, November 10, 11 a.m. (optional lunch at 12:30 p.m.)

Location: ARC Retreat Center, Stanchfield, MN

Food: Meals included - dinner Friday through breakfast Sunday (option to add lunch Sunday). Food is cooked fresh on site, by people who know what they are doing. Meals often include organic and local foods. Special diets and dietary needs can and will be accommodated. P.S. The food is GOOD.

Accommodations: If you choose a double, please indicate who you will be rooming with. Bathrooms are in the hall and shared.

Friday: Welcome, settle in. Introductions. Dinner. Yoga Asana and Yoga Nidra. Free time (optional Arts and Crafts.)

Saturday: Morning Yoga Asana practice. Breakfast. Free time. Workshop. Lunch. Free time. Yoga. Dinner. Yoga Nidra. Fire.

Sunday: Morning Yoga Asana and Nidra practice. Breakfast. Free time / packing. Closing / departure. (Optional lunch)

What to bring: Clothes you want to wear to hang out, practice yoga, go outside. Your toiletries, vitamins, medications. Yoga mat, if you like to have your own. Props are available on site. Your reusable water bottle. Flashlight. Flip flops and walking shoes.

What to leave at home: Worries. Adult beverages. Recreational drugs. Food (we will be fed, and we don’t want to invite critters into our sleeping spaces). Fireworks.
